Creating a Heart & Soul for Silverdale

With the Placemaking Signage

As part of our goal of developing Silverdale into its own location and a place to be, a place to go we’re working closely with the Hibiscus & Bays Local Board on creating placemaking signage to be placed on lamp posts along the main road through the Silverdale village.

The Project

As part of our goal of developing Silverdale into its own location and a place to be, a place to go we’re working closely with the Hibiscus & Bays Local Board on creating placemaking signage to be placed on lamp posts along the main road through the Silverdale village.

After spending a significant amount of time collecting ideas and feedback, including holding a public forum on the matter, we’re happy to announce the winner of the placemaking signage design. The concept, as seen to the left (or above on mobile) was designed by Redspark Creative a local design and branding agency.

Silverdale Business would like to thank the Local Board, especially Andy Dunn, for their work with us on this project. And while it’s not complete yet, we’re really excited to have the concept off the ground and approved.

We would also like to thank all of you who voted on the design concepts for this project. Creating a heart and soul for Silverdale isn’t just about local businesses, but about the entire community. We really appreciate all your feedback.

As the project progresses we will continue to update this page.
