About Us:
At Silverdale Business Association, our mission is to foster the growth and success of the Silverdale business community. As a not-for-profit organization, we are dedicated to making Silverdale a fantastic place to live, work, and do business. Our efforts are fuelled by the support of over 1200 business and commercial property owners in the Silverdale Business Improvement District (BID).

Position Overview: Administrator
In this exciting role, you will be the backbone of our organisation, providing essential administrative support to our team and stakeholders. Working closely with a small and influential team, including the General Manager, Marketing & Communications Specialist, and Executive Board members, you’ll play a vital role in driving the mission and goals of the Silverdale Business Association.

Qualifications:
• Preferably a qualification in business administration or a related field
• A minimum of three years’ experience in an administrative role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling data
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Adept at working both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database
management, canva or design
• Familiarity with the Silverdale business community is a plus.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide secretarial support to the Association Board, managing meeting schedules, agendas, papers,
and minutes
• Efficiently manage administrative functions, including call and email responses, document filing, and
record-keeping
• Assist with event and meeting coordination, ensuring smooth logistics and preparation
• Support membership recruitment and retention efforts, processing applications and maintaining
records
• Handle general office tasks, such as supply management and workspace organisation
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager and other staff members
• Attend committee meetings and events as needed.
• Customer Relationship Management System Administration
• Project Administration
