What’s the Question?
On March 25th we held a forum for local businesses, specifically those who are part of the Silverdale Village, to discuss a proposal for a joint project between Silverdale Business and the Hibiscus & Bays Local Board. The purpose is to develop placemaking signage that creates a sense of unique identity for the Silverdale Village. This proposal will see new signage attached to the nine colonial style street-lights that line Silverdale Street, giving the village its unique historical identity.
Several initial design concepts have been tabled, to kick-start what we would like to be a co-operative business/community consultation process. We welcome your ideas and input. The initial concepts floated are simply to generate engagement and ideas. Let us know which one you prefer. If you have alternative ideas, please let us know. After all this is YOUR Silverdale, and we want you to have your say so we can progress to developing an exceptional Silverdale Village brand identity.
