Safer Silverdale – Safer Plates Event

Silverdale Business is proud to be working alongside Hibiscus Coast Neighbourhood Support, the Orewa Lions Club, and with strong support from NZ Police, to host our next Safer Plates Event.

Date: Saturday, 14 March 2026
Time: 9am – 12pm
Venue: Stella Maris School Carpark - 50 Silverdale Street

At this event, we’ll replace your standard license plate screws with special “Safer Screws” that make it much harder for thieves to steal your plates.

Stolen number plates are commonly used for petrol drive-offs and other criminal activity, so this simple step can help protect you and your community.

Cost: This service is FREE for Silverdale Business Members, subsidised as part of your membership.

This initiative is all about keeping our community safer, and we encourage all locals to take advantage of it.
